The Clubhouse

In recent years Sweetwoods has enjoyed a substatial refurbishment and the end result has been a beautiful contemporary Clubhouse and function facility that extends to a wraparound terrace overlooking the 18th.

Open from early mornings serving a variety of excellent food, whether you’re enjoying a light lunch in the relaxing Terrace Bar overlooking the 18th or partying the night away at one of the many social events in The Long Room, you’ll be sure to have a great time whilst enjoying our clubhouse.

Members and non-members can book our clubhouse for events or functions such as Birthdays, Celebrations of Life, Wedding receptions or Corporate events.

For Club members, we offer complimentary room hire fees.

The Bluebell Restaurant and Clubhouse bar

Whether you’ve finished a round, meeting up with friends or simply fancy a bite to eat, our modern clubhouse is a great place to relax and unwind whilst overlooking the stunning 18th hole.

Our well-stocked bar has something for all tastes including our delicious range of coffees.

Resident Head Chef, Alan Osborne, has transformed our food offerings for both the bar and The Bluebell Restaurant. From tasty breakfasts, healthy light lunches, great-value snacks and delicious dinners, all of Alan’s dishes are cooked from scratch with locally-sourced, fresh ingredients.

In The Bluebell Restaurant, Alan’s menu changes seasonally to make the most of fresh produce and we regularly hold culinary events including our popular themed tasting menu’s held throughout the season.

Clubhouse Facilities

Terrace Bar

Modern, contemporary and with a view across the course, this open and informal setting creates a vibrant social atmosphere. Sink into one of our wingback chairs in front of the fireplace and catch up on the latest competitions on one of our TVs.

The Long Room

A large room with a view across the 18th green is capable of holding up to 80 people on its own or 100 when coupled with the Bluebell Restaurant, making it the perfect venue for receptions, dining, parties, conferences, presentations or any other events you may be planning.

The Conference Room

Ideal for corporate directors or management meetings due to the smaller nature of this area. It can therefore also be used for a private dining room and with access to the raised balcony provides a great view of the practice putting area, 18th green and the narrow 12th tee.

Enjoy a bite from our latest menu in our delightful contemporary bar area or indulge in a delicious meal from our extensive restaurant menu. All our dishes are freshly prepared and combine locally sourced, quality ingredients to create dishes that have continued to delight our members and guests for many years.
